What you'll be doing:

• Prospect, sell, and proactively manage relationships with the municipal market
• Prepare and present sales proposals, build custom quotes, place and manage orders
• Prepare and deliver responses to RFQ's and bids
• Meet regularly with key decision-makers from municipalities, counties, and state agencies to build and maintain relationships
• Attend council and/or board meetings as necessary
• Maintain an awareness of market dynamics and competitors' activity
• Attend local industry trade shows and participate in local chambers or other community associations and trade groups

Experience you'll need:

• Municipal sale experience; previous experience working with municipalities, counties, and state agencies; understanding of municipal, county, and state RFQ/bid programs; and/or previous work truck equipment sales experience
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
• Valid Driver's License
