Inventory Control Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize internal system to accurately maintain inventory of all raw materials and supplies
• This person will be responsible for the planning, procurement, and conveyance of all materials coming into and out of the facility
• Assure that all material is available to support production
• Coordinate processes for inventory reduction
• Ensure incoming product is bar coded and scanned so that it is received and located on a timely basis
• Establish bar coded locations so that materials and components can be located in an efficient manner
• Ensure that materials are stored and staged on a timely basis so that the productivity of the shop technicians is maximized.
• Ensure that materials are inspected and rejected within two business days of receipt.
• Work safely in a production environment wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in automotive or truck equipment industry
• Experience doing cycle counts and setting up min/max levels
• Comfortable working hands-on, in a warehouse environment
• Experience with vendor management
• Ability to confront and resolve problems while working as part of a cross functional team

Pluses:

• Bachelor's degree
• Forklift certified

Physical Requirements:

• Normal standing, walking, bending and twisting as necessary to perform job duties.
• Exposed to normal seasonal temperatures.
• Lifting/moving up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
